Public Access：1 hour by bus from Fujikyu Station.
Fare 1,780yen

Best Season：Summer　（It’s very cold to visit in other seasons）

The highest point on Mt. Fuji that can be reached by car (2,305 meters above sea level).
In summer, this is where you start climbing Mt. Fuji.
Even if you don’t climb the mountain, coming here will give you the feeling of having climbed Mt. Fuji.
We recommend hiking around the area (takes 30 to 60 minutes).
On a clear day, the view of sunset is spectacular.

It takes 3 hours from the base, including travel time and time spent there.
If you want to visit places around Mt. Fuji, it’s best to avoid this route.

The toilets requieres a fee to use.(100yen)
Coins must be prepared.

The 5th station is 7-9 degrees cooler then the base of Mt.Fuji.
You need to jacket to visit.
Regular cars are not allowed to visit from 5/July to 10/Sep.
Due to snow,there are times cannot visit during the Winter.
