Hello, I'm Takuya, an interpreter guide. I'm from Kyoto and since I was a child, I was interested in the nearby temples and shrines, and loved learning about Japanese history.
When I was 6 years old, I spent 2 years in Los Angeles, USA, where I experienced the cultural differences between Japan and America. This experience was a great opportunity to broaden my horizons.
After that, I worked in sales and marketing at Japanese companies for 20 years, meeting many different people. In 2020, I passed the interpreter guide exam and became a taxi driver as a new challenge. Now, through my work as a guide and driver, I convey the charm of Japan to customers.
In particular, I was fascinated by Mt. Fuji through tours, and my hobby is taking pictures of the beautiful image of Mt. Fuji. I am looking forward to enjoying Japan's wonderful culture and nature with you all.
